A Word From our President; Jackie Polk, CTP

Happy New Year! I hope this message finds you well and excited for the opportunities that 2024 holds for all of us. As we step into this New Year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past year and share a glimpse of what lies ahead.

• Acknowledgment of Achievements: Let’s start by celebrating our collective achievements in 2023. Whether it was hitting significant milestones, launching new products/services, or reaching ambitious targets, these accomplishments were made possible by our collaboration and dedication. One of our accomplishments included deployment of our new Driver Portal which allows drivers to keep their driver qualification file up to date via their mobile phone.  We also began offering Driver and CSA Monitoring products via our partnership with Samba Safety, which has afforded our clients yet another route to monitoring their fleet’s safety.

 

• Challenges and Learnings: Undoubtedly, we encountered challenges along the way. However, these challenges served as opportunities for growth and learning. We fight for our clients, as well as industry peers, advocating for change when needed and providing essential feedback to legislators of how proposed regulatory changes will impact the industry.  In 2023, I was honored to testify before the Texas House against proposed Mileage Tax legislation, and share my knowledge of the IFTA requirements and their impact on motor carriers nationwide.  We were proud to represent the Texas Trucking Association in these meetings and continue to provide industry knowledge to members in need of DOT and IFTA expertise.

 

• Vision for 2024: Looking forward, we’re enthusiastic about the prospects that await us. Our vision for 2024 revolves around solidifying our position as the leading authority in DOT compliance solutions. We aim to redefine excellence in the industry by delivering tailored, innovative compliance services that not only meet but exceed the evolving standards set by FMCSA. These aspirations align with our commitment to profitability, integrity and meeting needs with a servant’s heart.  In April we will be celebrating our Ruby Anniversary; 40 years of serving Motor Carriers!  We are thrilled to share this accomplishment with our clients and partners, as their unwavering support and teamwork have been instrumental in our journey.

 

• Commitment to Collaboration: Our success has always been intertwined with the trust and feedback of partners like you. This is critical to our future, so as we move forward, we look forward to continuing this journey together. We value input from our partners; from beta testing new products to sharing user experience notes.  They fuel our desire to constantly evolve, and provide a comprehensive DOT offering for carriers of all size and needs.

 

• Gratitude: Lastly, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your continued trust and support. Together, we’ve achieved remarkable feats, and I’m confident that our joint efforts will lead to even greater accomplishments in the coming year.
