On the Road to SMA with Bethany

Our Senior Business Development Representative, Bethany Hobbs, is headed to the Southwest Movers Association’s Annual Conference next week. Looking forward to connecting with industry leaders and sharing how Lee Trans helps carriers stay compliant and moving forward!

9/11 Remembrance Day

On this day of remembrance, we honor the courage, unity, and sacrifice of September 11, 2001. May we never forget.

Labor Day

This Labor Day, we celebrate the dedication and hard work of those who keep our world moving forward. To the drivers, teams, and workers across every industry — thank you for the work worth doing!

Please note our offices will be closed Monday, September 1st, in recognition of Labor Day. We will reopen Tuesday, September 2nd with normal operating hours.

On The Road to NPTC

We’re gearing up for the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) Management Conference & Exhibition next week. Our team will be on-site and ready to connect—stop by our booth to explore how we support private fleets with compliance, driver qualification, licensing, and more. And by more we mean YETI coolers, Atkinson candy and a few hand-picked goodies for your team!

Bethany and Jessica will be sharing insight into our service offerings, introducing our latest products, and highlighting the ways we help carriers stay ahead of regulatory requirements with confidence and ease.

We can’t wait to see you there!

Guy Davis Golf Tournament

Last weekend, several of our team members were honored to participate in the 18th Annual Guy Davis Golf Tournament benefiting the Angelina College Roadrunner Foundation. This event holds special meaning for us, as its namesake is the father of our very own Director of Administration, Dawn Davis.  Congratulations to all the winners of the tournament and to the Foundation for another incredible fundraiser!

National Dog Day

August 26th is National Dog Day—and we’re giving a shoutout to the four-legged copilots who make life on the road a little less lonely. From loyal companions to early warning systems, trucker dogs bring comfort, protection, and a touch of home to long hauls across the country.

To all the pups keeping drivers company on the road—thank you for riding shotgun, mile after mile. Show us your rig-riding best friend!

Brandon White ELC Officer

We’d like to recognize and thank our Director of Operations; Brandon White, for his service on the Texas Trucking Association’s Emerging Leaders Council (ELC). At last month’s TXTA Annual Conference, Brandon wrapped up his term as an ELC Officer—having spent the last few years helping shape and support the future of trucking leadership in Texas as the Vice Chairman – Allied.

From Brandon:

“Serving on the ELC with TXTA has been a true honor. I had the opportunity to represent my community at our State Capitol, speak with legislators in Washington, D.C., and collaborate with classmates who are advancing our industry in new ways every day.

Thank you to Konor Swedberg, our Chairman; David Serach, Vice Chair – Carrier; Secretary Autumn Owen; Treasurers Tricia Parker and Mike Razniewski; Recruiting Chair Ryan Koons; and Educational Outreach Chair Phil Baxter. It’s been a privilege to work alongside each of you.”

We’re proud of Brandon’s dedication to mentorship, advocacy, and forward-thinking leadership, both within Lee Trans and across the industry.

This week our Consulting and Business Development Team attended the Texas Trucking Association’s East Texas Chapter meeting in Tyler Texas. Big thank you to Tra Williams of FleetForce for presenting some great information on the greying out of the transportation workforce, and the effectively train the next generation of drivers!

We also had the opportunity to connect with our friends at the Texas Logging Council; an incredible group dedicated to the preservation of our region’s wood-based economy and their legislative efforts.
