National Seat Belt Day

Today we join the Governors Highway Safety Association in recognizing National Seat Belt Day — a reminder that safety starts with a single, simple action.

Here in Texas, we all know the phrase “Click It or Ticket.” But beyond the slogan, that click represents responsibility — to ourselves, our passengers, and everyone sharing the road.

At Lee Trans, we believe safety isn’t just a regulation; it’s a daily choice. Buckle up, stay alert, and set the standard for safe, responsible driving.

Veterans Day

Today, we honor the brave men and women who have served our country with courage, humility, and an unwavering commitment to others. Their dedication reflects the very spirit of service that inspires our own mission — to meet the needs of our clients and communities with a servant’s heart.

To all who have served and continue to serve — thank you. Your sacrifices make freedom, safety, and opportunity possible.

TXTA SMC/FMC Wrap Up

Last month our Business Development, Consulting and Sales team travelled to San Marcos for some education, networking and ground support for Texas carriers. We look forward to these events every year, and were humbled by Chairman Kenny Ray’s words: “At SMC we’re not competitors, we’re family. When you walk in these doors, we’re here to collaborate and help make our industry safer, smarter and more successful.” Great job Texas Trucking Association for another successful event!

National Stress Awareness Day

Today we recognize National Stress Awareness Day, an initiative of the International Stress Management Association, reminding us how important it is to prioritize mental and emotional well-being.

In the trucking industry, stress shows up in many ways—long hours on the road, tight delivery windows, and the constant responsibility of keeping every mile safe and compliant. Motor carriers face their own challenges, from managing regulations to supporting their drivers in the field.

At Lee Trans, we understand the weight our clients carry, and we’re proud to help lighten that load through dependable compliance solutions and personalized support.

Here’s to calmer roads and steadier days ahead for every member of the industry.

Drowsy Driving Prevention Week

This Drowsy Driving Prevention Week, we’re reminded how vital rest is to every safe mile driven.

At Lee Trans, we partner with carriers nationwide to help them stay compliant with Hours of Service requirements and manage ELD data effectively—because safety starts with awareness, and compliance keeps it on track.

Here’s to safe, well-rested drivers everywhere!

Halloween Office Party

Please note our offices will be closed for an extended luncheon today while we enjoy some seasonal treats and our annual costume contest!

Earlier this month members of our Sales, Client Service, Accounting and Operations team joined our President; Jackie Polk, CTP, for the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce’s quarterly Women’s Networking Luncheon. This event encourages women to empower one another in their personal and professional growth, give access to incredible speakers and engage in thought-provoking sessions geared to personal development that can be felt at home and at the office. We are honored to participate and enjoyed camaraderie and fellowship with some of our leadership team!

Congratulations Gary Amoe for being our October Clean Desk Award recipient! From our President, Jackie Polk, CTP:

Tucked away beside the server room, Gary keeps his workspace neat and organized behind his many computer screens. With just a few personal touches, his office reflects both professionalism and personality—setting a great example for us all.

TXTA SMC Booth Winner

Congratulations to Cliff Smith, our drawing winner from the Texas Trucking Association’s Fall SMC/FMC Conference! Cliff walked away with a YETI Halloween bucket filled to the brim with Atkinson candy. We love bringing a taste of home every where we go and showing support to Texas brands like our own!

Please join us in celebrating Gina Smith, our October Employee of the Month! From our President, Jackie Polk, CTP:
