Work Zone Awareness Week

This week is National Work Zone Awareness Week—a reminder that every cone, sign, and barrier represents a life.

Commercial drivers play a crucial role in keeping roadway workers safe. Slow down, stay alert, and move over when possible. Let’s protect the crews who work hard to keep our roads moving.

Easter

Wishing you a joyful and peaceful Easter from all of us at Lee Trans.  May your day be filled with renewal, hope and time with those who matter most.

Good Friday

Today we pause in recognition of Good Friday—a time for reflection, reverence, and gratitude. Whether you’re on the road or spending the day with loved ones, we wish you peace and safety.

April Anniversaries

Please join us in congratulating two of our team members, both celebrating a decade of service with our organization!

April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month—a critical reminder that even a moment of inattention behind the wheel can have serious consequences. For commercial drivers, the stakes are even higher. According to the FMCSA, truck drivers who text behind the wheel are 23 times more likely to be involved in a crash or near-crash event.

Federal regulations prohibit commercial drivers from holding a phone while driving—violations can result in fines, license disqualification, and impact a carrier’s safety rating.

Put the phone down. Stay focused. Arrive safely.

Please join us in congratulating our employee of the month, Aaron Lewis!

From our President, Jackie Polk, CTP: Aaron is a dedicated and dependable team member who consistently shows up and delivers exceptional work.  His quiet demeanor may keep him out of the spotlight, but his performance speaks volumes.  As one of our fastest and most accurate keyers, Aaron sets a high standard for efficiency and precision.  His reliability is unmatched—I can’t recall a time when he wasn’t here, committed to getting the job done.  Aaron handles his responsibilities with excellence, and those who work with him have nothing but praise for his work ethic.  While he may not seek attention, his contributions are truly valued, and we are grateful for all he does. Congratulations, Aaron, and thank you for your hard work!

TXTA Trucking Day

Last week our President; Jackie Polk, CTP, traveled to the Texas State Capitol for Texas Trucking Day, joining industry leaders in advocating for key issues impacting commercial carriers. As part of the Texas Trucking Association delegation, she met with legislators working on lawsuit reform and policies that directly affect our clients and industry partners.

At Lee Trans we take pride in not only serving our clients with compliance solutions but also advocating for policies that protect and support the trucking industry. Jackie’s leadership in these discussions reflects our commitment to standing up for the businesses that keep America moving!
