As we welcome 2025, I’m filled with gratitude and excitement reflecting on the milestones we achieved in 2024 and the opportunities that lie ahead. Together we’ve strengthened our mission to serve our clients and the trucking industry with excellence and innovation.
Celebrating Achievements
This year has been marked by remarkable growth, collaboration, and celebration. In April, we proudly celebrated 40 years of service—a milestone that marks four decades of dedication to supporting motor carriers and advancing the trucking industry. This incredible journey wouldn’t have been possible without the trust of our clients and the unwavering commitment of our team.
On the personal development front, I was honored to graduate from the Texas Trucking Association’s Emerging Leaders Council program. This experience provided invaluable insights into how advocacy efforts at both the state and federal levels shape the future of our industry. I had the privilege of learning from some of the brightest minds in trucking and deepened my commitment to ensuring Lee Trans remains a trusted partner for our clients.
Joining me in advancing their leadership journeys, our Sales Specialist Jessica Baker successfully completed the Lufkin/Angelina Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Lufkin program. This prestigious program empowers local leaders to make meaningful impacts in their communities. Additionally, two of our extended family members graduated from Leadership Tomorrow, underscoring our belief in fostering the next generation of changemakers. We were also thrilled to see Kim Torres from our Licensing & Permitting Department awarded a scholarship from the TXTA Foundation to further her education at Angelina College. At Lee Trans, we value education and personal development, knowing that investing in our people drives both individual and organizational success.
Finally, 2024 brought bittersweet moments as we bid farewell to Denise McCary of our Safety Sensitive Information Department upon her retirement in June. Denise’s contributions over the years were immeasurable, and her presence is deeply missed. Alongside this transition, we celebrated incredible milestones within our Operations team. Lanell Davis of our Vehicle Services Department marked 20 years of dedicated service, while Ryan McConnell, Dawn Davis, Monica Vela, and Logan Dowdy each celebrated 10 years in their roles. Their commitment and expertise are the bedrock of our success, and we are truly honored to have them on our team.

Challenges are a natural part of growth, and this year was no exception. Our team’s resilience and adaptability allowed us to tackle obstacles head-on while seizing opportunities to innovate. We’ve remained steadfast in our advocacy efforts, ensuring that our clients and the broader trucking community have their voices heard in regulatory discussions. These efforts reinforce our commitment to supporting our industry’s continued evolution.
